11:17 pm - Beauty
"...I became aware of all the magnificent silk wrapped about my body, and had the feeling I might drown in beauty. At that moment, beauty itself struck me as a kind of painful melancholy."

08:43 pm - Wisdom from Thursday Next
"All my life I have felt destiny tugging at my sleeve. Few of us have any real idea what it is we are here to do and when it is that we are to do it. Every small act has a knock-on consequence that goes on to effect those about us in unseen ways..." THURSDAY NEXT - A life in SpecOps

04:37 pm - Going smoothly, so far
More books arrived and I've been met with many people who wish to help in the library. I've met Jason as well who has been looking after the books while I've been gone. Still have yet to meet Greg and thank him as well, but I will.

Will have a few recommendations to post as soon as I get everything unpacked and put away...scanned...filed, oh balls there's a lot of work to be done. I'll just have to take it one day at a time.

EDITED: Here is the first Recommendation crossposted to campreaders

11:39 pm - Arriving
I'm in the van, I will be arriving at the camp shortly. Books in tow and a head full of ideas.

I hope I can make some sort of a difference in these people's lives. Books so often do and I sincerely wish to impart my knowledge on everyone involved at this camp.

I've brought with me some special volumes that were given to me by my father...a bookseller, dedicated bibliophile and antiquarian. Some of these will be brought out to lend and others are by special application only as they are very rare. However, I will do my best to recommend and find bits of literature that will inspire and occupy everyone.
